Maybe so - but the law of economics says that you'll get a lot more purchasers for £8 then you would for £14 (including postage) - the cheaper price will copnversely bring MORE money to your charity.....
Would it be possible to have beardyman on the front of a t-shirt with the We Love Beardyman slogan on the back? Also, you have smartened beardyman up, whereas I think his charm lay in the unkemptness of his original beard.
It is with great regret that we realised the Beardyman picture had come down from MRM's offices - what has happened to it, we hope not thrown onto the scrap heap!
Beardyman will be going to the Founder's Arms, 12.30pm Friday 21 December - the Founder's Arms is on the Thames between Tate Modern and Blackfriars Bridge - be there...or you'll be somewhere else

I would have paid £8 for the mug - I feel the current price is a little prohibitive.....
But think of the quality of the penmanship of the beard!

only a MUG would pay £14 IMHO!!!!!
How much would it cost to have Beardyman haikus on the shirts?

Here's a haiku for ya
To nurture a beard
As classic as Beardyman's
Needs care beyond words.
the days are short'ning
autumn passing to winter
only whiskers grow
cold wind ruffles beard -
glad not to have the goosebumps
of the clean shaven
the end of the week
my beard grown shaggy, unkempt.
Saturday, a trim
Someone did suggest tea-towels would be a good idea - just to wipe the smile off my face.
The Haikus are fantastic. Maybe some of them can be put on the back of the t-shirts.
Spanish Proverb - Chins without beards deserve no honour
To adorn the face
With a carefully trimmed beard -
Style personified.
